Compass Cay: Compass Cay, a few miles north of Staniel Cay has a large marina, lunch shack, “pet sharks” that the brave may swim with, hiking trails, a beautiful crescent beach, and a swimming hole. The Exuma Cays Land & Sea Park: The Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park is the first of its kind in the world. Established in 1959 by The Bahamas National Trust, the park stretches for 176 square miles and is inhabited by large populations of marine life. The entire area is a “no take” zone, providing a safe breeding ground and fantastic snorkeling and diving. Park headquarters and Visitor Center are located in Warderwick Wells. The park is 8 miles north of Staniel Cay. |
